Parenting As a Spiritual Practice
A 6 week parenting program for parents or teachers that guides participants into designing their unique family or classroom culture, learning creative discipline tools that encourage children rather than shame them, teaches a deep listening technique useful in parent to child and spousal relationships, and helps parents to see more clearly the significance and nobility in the daily tasks of parenting.
“This program increases your awareness about how to live your life with intention. What kindof person/parent/teacher you want to be. How do you become that “you.” It’s about bringing out the best in other people – your children, your students, your aging parents, and your spouse! Raelee guided us gently and lovingly, encouraging us to create the healthy environment for our children, to build healthy rhythms into our family lives and to teach them the virtues. She gave us the support we’ll need to make educative corrections or redirections, calling forth the best of our loved ones!”
~Jane Kaman, Mom of 3, kindergarten teacher, Pittsboro, NC
“This course is integral to parenting for me. I have seen the amazing impact these tools have had on our lives in a greater sense of purpose, clarity, and meaning. I have taken many other parenting courses and after this one, I feel as though I have some applicable tools and philosophies that will guide and assist me through the struggles that we will face rather than a band aid to a particular set of challenges.”
~Jenica & Steve Parrow, Parents of 4 children, ages 2, 4, 7, & 9, Atlanta, GA

Personal Life Coaching
A 12-week coaching program that guides mothers from feeling guilty and unfulfilled into a journey of redefining themselves. My clients are open to finding meaning and joy in their daily parenting tasks. Self-care is the driving message of our work together. Coaching sessions are weekly 60-minute phone or skype appointments. Stay-at-home mothers or working mothers wanting to find more rhythm are ideal candidates. My coaching provides a structure for mothers to focus on their strengths and nurture their challenges. Clients will be encouraged to journal and reflect throughout the 12 weeks on issues we will co-create that appear as the mother’s spiritual work.
“Raelee is a very accessible, knowledgeable coach. She really helped me clarify what I hope for myself as a parent and what I’d most like to “teach” my child – how to be a person of virtue. I can see how learning/practicing/speaking the “Language of Virtues” will help me have a life long connection with my child.”
~Luanne & Eric Bannan, Parents of 3 year old, Pittsboro, NC
“I love Raelee’s enthusiasm and passion for her work. She comes with a broad perspective and knowledge base in regards to parenting styles. She does not judge me in my parenting, but rather listens to my struggles and successes with an open heart. She has helped me to understand that parenting is deep spiritual work and that I may not always feel like the perfect parent, but rather one who is always striving to grow and learn.”
~Maia Derewicz, mom to 2 year old, Pittsboro, NC
